Can I scan my computer for viruses or malware?

Yes, if you have a RISD-owned computer, your computer is protected by CrowdStrike.

Although there isn't a client interface for end users to interact with, you can initiate a scan.

You can scan your computer by right-clicking on a blank area of the desktop and selecting "CrowdStrike Falcon malware scan". You may have to select "show more options" to find CrowdStrike. From there, you will have the option to either "Scan all drives" or "Scan system drive", that is, the local drive C:\.

The Windows Notification Center will pop up a message indicating it has started a scan. Once completed, you can right-click on a blank area of the desktop and mouse over CrowdStrike Falcon malware scan and select "See scan results of last scan".
