View and Manage my Academic Plan

Your Plan
Your academic plan lets you visualize when you will take courses to meet your graduation requirements. RISD provides a template for first-year students as well as upon major declaration. Students may adjust their plan to meet their own unique circumstances or if they change/add majors but should consult with their advisor and department first as many departments require students to take classes in a specific order. Adjusting your plan does not modify your graduation requirements.
To Edit Your Academic Plan
Click Menu then Academics
Under Planning and Advising, click View My Academic Plan

To modify the plan, click Update Plan

At the top of the screen, choose the academic year to edit

Next to each requirement select the course you plan to use to fulfill it.
To remove a requirement from the plan, click the 
To change the requirement, click on the box and choose from the drop-down menu
To add a requirement, drag it from the Remaining Academic Requirements area to place it under the desired semester.
To indicate the course you plan to use to fulfill the requirement, next to the requirement choose the course. You’ll only see courses that meet the requirement. If you plan to use a Brown or transfer course, leave this blank.
When you’re finished, click OK
