Is there a size limit on files I can upload via mobilePRINTS?
Yes, allowable file size is 52MB. mobilePRINTS will notify you if your file exceeds the size limit.

What type of files can I print with mobilePRINTS​?
mobilePRINTS supports:

• Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Publisher documents​​
• Adobe PDF
• Text files (CSV, RTF & TXT)
• Images (JPG, TIFF, GIF, BMP, PNG)
  

mobilePRINTS will notify you if you're attempting to upload an unsupported file type. You may use the risdPRINTS printer queues to print other files.

​Can I print from Cloud Storage (Dropbox, Google Drive, iCloud)?
Yes, if you can access the cloud storage from your device then you can upload files from there.​

Can I print a webpage?
There is no supported option to send HTML pages to mobilePRINTS.
You can save the HTML page as a screenshot -- then save it to cloud storage (Google Drive or Dropbox).
Within cloud storage -- you can then upload the "supported file" into mobileprints.risd.edu website to print.

Can I print in color?
Yes, after you have uploaded your document to mobileprints.risd.edu, you have the 4 print options:
double sided, color, pages per side and number of copies.

Can I print part of a document?
Only the full document can be printed from mobilePRINTS.

How do I release (print) my submitted print jobs?

This would depend on where you are printing:

- Print Centers - Print jobs will be released through mobileprints.risd.edu and picked up at your convenience.

- Standalone Printers - Print jobs will be released (printed) in person and swiping you at any risdPRINTS print release stations.
