Remote Labs
RISD ITS worked with several departments over the summer to convert in-person computer labs to remote labs. There are approximately 50 computers available through remote labs.
Who has access to connect to the Remote Labs?
Anyone with a valid RISD account can sign in. The RISDLabs remote labs are open to all RISD users. The BEB Remote Lab is restricted to students in ARCH, LDAR and INTAR.
What software is available?
All labs have the RISD coreware (Adobe Apps, Microsoft Office 365, etc). Labs that contain specialized software will list this in the lab details on the RISDLabs Portal System.
How do I access the remote labs?

Mac Users: Install Microsoft Remote Desktop app prior to using RISD Remote Labs.

RISD is not responsible for any documents saved locally to the computer. You must save your files to a cloud storage application: Adobe Cloud, Google Drive, Dropbox or Microsoft OneDrive.
