This self-service tool allows you to conveniently and securely change or reset your own RISD account password via text message or email. You no longer need to remember questions and answers.
To get started, simply enroll in the service by entering personal contact information such as a mobile number and an alternate email address. Once enrollment is complete, you then have the ability to reset your own forgotten password by requesting a text message containing a verification code or an email using a secure link.

How do I enroll?
Do I need to enter both a mobile number and email address?
No, you are not required to enter both mobile and email. Your RISD email address is automatically populated. Therefore, we recommend you enter at least a mobile number and encourage you to provide a non-risd email address.
Can I enroll with an international number?
Yes. Please make sure to include the country code.
Are there advantages to using a text message vs. secure link and vice versa?
No, it is personal preference and choice.
Using the email method, the system will send a secure link to the email address you specified under enrollment. Following the reset request, go to the email inbox and click on the secure link where you are prompted to enter and confirm a new password.
Using the mobile method, the system sends a verification code to the mobile number you specified under enrollment. Following the reset request, retrieve verification code provided and enter it in the app where you are prompted to enter and confirm a new password.
